What is the self-pay program, and who should consider it?
Our self-pay program lets you pay a set price for your exam with no insurance billing or hidden fees. It’s a great option if you don’t have insurance, have a high deductible, or simply want more control over your healthcare costs.
Self-pay can also help you get scanned faster by avoiding insurance prior authorizations or potential coverage denials.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. Pricing for your scan is shared upfront when you schedule.
Can I use an HSA or FSA card for self-pay?
Yes. You can use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for your self-pay exam. Payment is due at the time of service.
Why is your self-pay rate sometimes lower than insurance pricing?
When billing insurance, we’re required to use the rates your insurance company has negotiated - not our own. Those contracted rates can sometimes be higher than our direct self-pay prices, even though the scan itself is identical.
Self-pay allows us to offer a transparent, direct rate for your exam.
Whether you use insurance or self-pay, our goal is the same: to help you get the best overall value for your imaging.
What if my insurance rate is lower than your self-pay price?
That’s great news and we’ll help you take advantage of it. Our team compares both options and guides you to the lowest out-of-pocket cost. If your verified insurance estimate is less than our self-pay price, we’ll bill your insurance plan so you pay the lesser amount.
No matter which path you choose, our goal is always to save you both time and money.
Will I get a copy of my images and report?
Yes. Every self-pay exam includes your exam, access to your images and a detailed report from a board-certified radiologist. You can view or share them with your healthcare provider at any time.
